UltraFlo Ultrasonic Flow Meters

Flo-Corp offers both UltraFlo transit time meters for clean liquids, and doppler units for liquids with suspended solids. A clamp-on model with integral display is also now offered. Ultrasonic transit time flow meters feature the world's most advanced non-invasive flow measurement technology available, providing a measuring system with unsurpassed accuracy, versatility, low-cost of installation and low-cost of ownership. Full-pipe, bi-directional, liquid flows up to 40 FPS can be measured in pipe sizes from 1" to 100". Our ultrasonic doppler meters are ideal for sewage, sludge, slurries, and other fluids with suspended solids or high aeration.

Specification

The SemperSonic™ UFTP Portable Transit Time Flow Meters are designed for long- or short-term measurement flow surveys on full-pipe liquid systems and are ideal for verifying calibration of permanently mounted flow meters of all types. Although intended primarily for cleaner liquids, the flow meter operates reliably with greater amounts of suspended solids or aeration than previous transit time ultrasonic flow meters were capable of measuring.

Power Requirements: Internal 12 V lead-acid Gel Cell battery provides 24 hrs of continuous operation @ 20°C.
Outputs: Standard 4-20 mA; optional pulse.
Data Logger: 200,000-event, 16-bit, integral DB-9 RS232C connection..
Display: 128 x 64 pixel graphics LCD, LED back lit. Two user selectable font sized 0.35" [8.9mm] or 0.2"[5.0 mm] 8 digit rate, 8 digit totalizer (resettable)

Specification

The ScanSonic™ UFDD Dedicated Digital Doppler Flow Meters measure flow of liquids that contain useful sonic reflectors suspended within the liquid. The UFDD replaces the obsolete velocity sensors by using more advanced technology for easier installation and more reliable readings on a wide range of liquid and reflector conditions. Unlike other Doppler technologies, the UFDD is relatively insensitive to VFDs and other ultrasonic noises.
